Read full description of the books:
Reed Calloway is a man of the world. He's lived with a prostitute, worked as a bouncer, and been arrested for assault. When he inherits his stepfather's business, he also inherits a business advisor, an attorney who tries to provoke Reed into being arrested again, so he can steal the business.
Josie Warren was raised by a nun. She's upset over losing the house to the Church Finance Committee and can’t figure out why her grandmother feels so guilty she gives everything of value to the church. Determined to find the source of the guilt Gran has lived with for years, Josie searches for answers.
When Reed meets Josie, he's overwhelmed by her blond beauty and shy demeanor. He knows he should stay away, that she deserves a better man, but he can't. He's falling for her big time. He helps Josie move and finds the trunks in the attic, trunks which hold her grandmother's past and clues to Gran's guilt.
Reed and Josie are stunned when they find the source of Gran’s guilt. Many years ago, Gran did something unthinkable. When Josie and Reed find themselves in the same position Gran was in back then, Josie is torn. Can she do what must be done to save a little girl’s life without repeating Gran's mistakes? Will she lose Reed if she makes the wrong choice?
Things get more complicated when Reed's business advisor tries to destroy their relationship, then he goes after Josie.

Read information about the authorI'm a grumpy old lady who lives with an even grumpier old man in a small town in Washington state. I have three grown children, all smarter and more successful than their mother, and one adorable grandson. My favorite kid!
I write mostly romantic suspense, women's fiction, and light paranormal romance novels. Although my plots get kind of involved and sometimes twisted at the end, I don't plot my books out before I start writing. I create characters, throw them into a situation, and let them lead the way. I'd like to think my characters are unique, yet familiar, people you'd like to get to know. People you can root for. People you'll remember after you finish reading the book.
I hope you enjoy reading my books. Please feel free to leave a comment or review.
